Thoughts

My mum Brenda two years pass. I wish we could meet, just for a minute, following these long winter months dark days that disappear in to the flighting night where I cry in my bed as I know the spring is on its way just as the forecast said. The time of your passing, birthday, Mother’s Day the season where I said my good buys to your cold hands and face your great grandchildren left growing, now young men in their place. The circle continues of dying and birth generations of ancestor that visit the earth. It doesn’t change how much I miss you, your laughter your strength, is always with me, that started at birth. For I now Your body couldn’t go on they tore you away across that stretch of water we call it the pound. I had to check it was you, as they said you where home, I collected your belongings as you passed on alone, but you are the spring for all the flowers arriving on and on you blossom living and thriving.

Nanny flower Brenda, Daughter, sister, wife, mum, nan ,great nan or should I say nanny flower. Everyone of us, who knew you was blessed by you in one of your many roles. You loved the life you led and cherished your memories, telling us repeatedly the stories of your past. You where so proud of your family being the worry wart of course and always doing what you could for us, how lucky we were to have you in our lives each and every day, so I just want to say, “Eee oppp”nan you where my friend, my council and advice, you were honest firm and also told me right you were my shoulder and ear, you would never judge just listened ,and always taught me right, you inspired me with your life, the roll you played, you gave me so much of your self almost everyday, time well spent together making mermories, of our days-away, platting my hair, telling story’s, reading books, and much more, of course we can’t forget dancing the can-can, sharing a bed and grandad calling you Fred, if I could just have one more day I’d lay my head on your lap and hear you say “oh love don’t worry it’ll be ok”. now I must let you lay it’s hard to say goodbye but I know that you were ready, and somewhere in my heart I feel your looking down on everyone you love, a cigarette in hand while dancing, smiling, happily, So this isn’t goodbye this is just to say We will miss you everyday, We love you nan and please don’t worry Everyone will be okay
